What
would you do if you were driving down an isolated country road, and you ran
someone over? What if you tried to help them, and something went horribly
wrong? What if you suddenly found yourself at the mercy of something not from
this world?
This is the situation faced by Donna, the central character in our short
horror-thriller, THE DITCH. It’s a powerful and thought-provoking film with a
supernatural twist. Influenced partly by East Asian ghost stories like The
Ring and The Grudge, it takes place
in the depths of the English countryside, in a dark and secluded forest. As
Donna makes the wrong choice again and again, she creates a chain of events she
can’t control.
