These are just some of the great perks available to you in return for your pledge to…

The Indestructible is about a disturbed and delusional teenager with a passion for illustration who must go to disturbing extremes to earn the approval of his peers the only way he knows how. Soon enough his reality and fantasy become blurred.

From writer/director Kalen Artinian (Hellvetica, Ruby’s Secret)

"This film has been a passion project of mine since I began writing it in December 2012. 11 drafts later here we are. I personally feel that it’s the best script I’ve ever written and I can’t wait to get into production and eventually see it on the big screen. This film has a completely batshit insane finale that has to be seen to be believed. Blending live action with animation in a way that has never been done before. It’s an extremely ambitious film and we need your help to make this beautiful project a reality."

Soon, the body count rises, and Walter finds himself submerged in a world of bizarre rituals and Satan worshiping madmen. Take a trip into this nail-biting and harrowing tale of the supernatural, darkness, and mystery. This disturbing novella will grab you from the first word and won't let go until the last.

Check out the great reviews…

"From first sentence to ending word, The Sacrifice of Candace Blake will have you chewing on your nails as you read."

"In any good horror story you'll have the elements of destruction, fear, manipulation, mystery and oftentimes death. The Sacrifice of Candace Blake has all of these elements. It builds the intrigue of what's going on in the shadows of a sleepy town and turns it into something reminiscent of your favorite, frightful horror stories. Stephen Semones proves to be a master of horror as you'll find yourself desperate to know more, if one would dare to."

"This book grabbed me in the very beginning and I read it from cover to cover that night. Very well written. I highly recommend this book."

"I immediately liked the characters, but didn't see what was coming for them. I couldn't put it down. Each chapter delved deeper into a very dark place. Be warned, there are graphic moments but they are tempered by a character that gives you hope in the timeless story of good and evil."

"Loved it and encourage everyone to purchase it and share with friends."

Dark Waves

“Beautiful turns of phrase and some thoughtful prose really elevates what is essentially a simple story. The sense of dread was thick and pervasive by the end. I enjoyed this old-fashioned horror story where the horror exists in your mind. I hope he writes more in this vein."

There are those who believe that science can explain everything. John Stedman is such a man. As a sound engineer, he uses his expertise in subsonic resonance to debunk hauntings, and pursues the task with a missionary zeal. In the lead up to the launch of his book on the subject, he accepts a challenge from a journalist to investigate a particularly powerful haunting at The Dawlish Inn, a 15th Century tavern situated on the south coast of England. John is all set for a pleasant weekend in the country, good food, local ale, and interesting company. But beneath the cosy bar and gourmet restaurant, down in the ancient cellar of the inn, something is waiting for him, something his science can not easily explain, an encounter that will change his world forever.

Bill Oberst Jr. joins the horror crime erotic Night of the Babysitter!

Actor, Bill Oberst Jr. (The Retrieval, Circus of the Dead, Criminal Minds) has officially agreed to play the lead role opposite rising star, Dora Madison Burge (Friday Night Lights, Dexter, That’s What I’m Talking About) in Louis Edward Doerge’s horror/crime thriller, Night of the Babysitter. Bill will be playing the enigmatic FATHER of Dora, who has enlisted his daughter’s help in his year-long revenge against those he blames for the death of his wife.

Bill Oberst had this to say about his involvement in the film:

"One of the great pleasures of this business is encountering rising young writing and directing talents on their way up. When those rising talents also happen to take cinema seriously as an art form, as Louis Doerge does, that's when real magic can happen. NIGHT OF THE BABYSITTER is dark and sinister; bold and original. It's an arthouse crime film in the guise of a horror movie. The script does what movies are supposed to do - it submerges the reader's imagination into a world of the filmmaker's choosing, and I believe the movie is going to do exactly the same thing. I'm excited to be onboard and I hope fans of arthouse movies, thriller movies, horror movies and crime movies (not to mention the legion of fans of Dora Madison Burge) will get excited about it, too."

Doerge said about Bill Oberst’s involvement, “We are extremely excited to be working with the incredible talent that is Bill Oberst. He’s more than well versed in these genres and is a cinematic force to be reckoned with.”

Night of the Babysitter, which is going to be shot on Super 16mm film by Jeff Wedding (Measure of the Sin), begins shooting late January. There is currently a crowdfunding campaign on INDIEGOGO for the film. igg.me/at/notb. Money raised from the campaign will go to paying crew salaries, so they don’t have to work for deferred pay, and film processing costs.

Debra Hill Documentary Announced

(Los Angeles, CA - November 10, 2014) In honor of what would have been the 64th birthday of pioneering film producer Debra Hill, we are proud to announce the upcoming production of THE DEBRA HILL DOCUMENTARY.

Filmmaking team DPYX (Marcy Boyle and Rachel Holzman) will write, direct and produce THE DEBRA HILL DOCUMENTARY, a feature documentary about the late, legendary filmmaker. Lotti Pharriss Knowles of Weirdsmobile Productions will executive produce. This will be the first film about Debra Hill, and by telling her story, the filmmakers hope to preserve an important piece of the empowering history of women in Hollywood.

Said Dpyx's Marcy Boyle: “Debra Hill is a hero of ours. Not only did she break in to the industry on her own, through intelligence, talent and tenacity, but she produced so many films that have become part of popular culture."

“We want to highlight and celebrate Hill's achievements, so the next generation of filmmakers can be inspired to move forward on the path blazed by women like her -- and so the industry can be reminded that women have been instrumental in some of the greatest success stories in the film business. Debra Hill’s films have generated over a billion dollars in box office receipts,” Dpyx’s Rachel Holzman noted.

From Hill's friend and former producing partner Lynda Obst: "I am overwhelmed with emotion about the documentary being made on the life and work of Debra Hill by Dpyx (Marcy Boyle & Rachel Holzman) and executive producer Lotti Pharriss Knowles. I was lucky enough to have been her partner in Hill/Obst productions, where we joyously made movies from Adventures in Babysitting (our first), to The Fisher King (our last) -- and she taught me everything she knew. Debra was the consummate producer, and this film will show generations of women and men what the right stuff truly is, as I saw it and lived it firsthand."

"Debra Hill was the godmother of indie filmmaking. She taught me that there was no above or below the line, that we were all one crew trying to make our days and make something great," said Stacey Sher said of her producing mentor.

John Carpenter recalls, "Debra Hill was a trailblazer, a tough as nails female producer in a man's world."

Principal photography will begin January 2015. For updates and information on how to donate:

ABOUT DEBRA HILL:
Debra Hill was born November 10, 1950 in Haddonfield, New Jersey. She began her career as a script supervisor in the 1970s, including on John Carpenter's ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13. She teamed with Carpenter on his next feature, HALLOWEEN, as his co-writer and producer. After the extraordinary success of that film, Hill became a key player in a wave of trailblazing women who broke barriers in the male-dominated film industry. She produced notable genre films such as THE FOG, ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, THE DEAD ZONE and HALLOWEEN I, II & III; comedies with cult followings such as CLUE, ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING and BIG TOP PEE-WEE; and the critically-acclaimed, award-winning film THE FISHER KING. Hill was a mentor to many current film industry heavyweights, and her untimely death in 2005 at age 54 was a great loss to those who knew and loved her, and to Hollywood as a whole.
