The Bad Dream Reliquary is a quarterly horror
anthology comic that takes its cue from the classics in form, but provides
something more modern in substance. Presented like old favorites, Creepy,
Eerie, or Tales from the Crypt, this book will feature up to ten stand-alone
stories of horror, suspense, the macabre, and other oddities over one hundred
pages of content per volume. Each story will be illustrated, in classic black
and white, by a different artist, resulting in a large and ever changing
changing cast of talent from volume to volume.
While the book will look and feel like the anthologies
of old that we are clearly tipping our hat to, we want The Bad Dream Reliquary
to offer more modern stories with different styles and approaches, rather than
simply offer a straightforward throwback comic for the sake of it. The stories,
all taking place within their own twisted little world will take on many
different forms in various styles of horror, and combining this open approach
with the rotating pool of artists we hope to give the reader a fun and well
rounded piece of horror, one volume at a time. Also included within the pages
with be extras such as essays, featured art, pin-ups, and other content to help
round out each installment.
