Women in Horror Month seeks female artists skilled at dark expression.

Los Angeles, CA, October 31, 2012 - WiHMwatches in the shadows. Our non-profit organization embraces underrepresented female artists and exposes the prejudices that impede their rise in the horror genre. Throughout the year, we highlight female artists on our social mediachannels, blogs and articles. Our daily efforts promote the creative work of women in horror, gearing up for the festivities of February.

WiHM plans big for February 2013. Women in Horror Recognition Month will unveil awareness-raising media campaigns, such as a series of Public Service Announcements. WiHM will also promote events, such as film festivals friendly to the cause, throughout the month. Giveaways, artist gala events, short films, features and more—just wait until you see what WiHM has in store for all of you!

Get the Seal. The WiHM Seal of Approval was created to ensure that all events, media and online material are philanthropic. We provide the “pink kiss” graphic for your Web site or marketing materials. The seal is available for all events, websites and generated media. Get your fatal kissand get it early! The Official WiHM Seal is donated by Rue Morgue magazine.
