BURN
is set in a savage dystopian future, but there was no apocalyptic event or
political upheaval that shaped this world. The ever increasing grind of modern
life never slowed, people kept working harder and harder for less and less,
most now live on an emotional knife-edge. Commuters think nothing of stepping
over murdered bodies as they hurry to work, offices are filled with ticking
time bombs who must keep working to sustain their lives. So many people snap
and go on bloody killing sprees that a dedicated police force exists to take
them down.
