A new
Italian horror movie is coming up on the independent scene: THE PYRAMID
Written
by Alex Visani (www.alexvisani.com http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4747843/ ) and
Raffaele Ottolenghi and produced by Empire Video, the movie is an anthological
horror divided into four episodes strictly connected to an infernal object: a
bizarre pyramid that came into our world to spread madness, death and
destruction. Along the centuries the pyramid was the focus of terrible
happenings and we found it again nowadays left on the desk of a fair abandoned
like an useless toy.
Found
by chance by an unfortunate guy; the pyramid opens the door to a series of
terrible and unstoppable events which will lead human race to the verge of
extinction.
Unanimated
objects coming to life, demonic possessions, monstrous creatures, living deads,
portals, pestilence and catastrophic events: that’s what you’ll find in THE
PYRAMID.
The
ambitious project is born from the collaboration of five young independent
Italian directors: Alex Visani, Antonio Zannone, Luca Alessandro and the duo
Roberto Albanesi & Simone Chiesa.
Each one of them gave birth to an episode
of terror generated by the pyramid.

THE
PYRAMID gather
the strength and passion of this group of artists and represent the Italian
independent scene; in fact each one of the segments had been filmed in
different parts of Italy to prove that horror is alive and kicking and take its
wrath all along the country.
After four months of pre-production and two months
of filming the movie is now in post production. Filmed (with HD Cam) both in
English and Italian the project is able to involve both the Italian and the
international market.
The
cast involve emerging actors both Italian and foreign such as David Power, Francesco
Rossini (from Dracula 3D), Emilia Verginelli , Jack Gallo, Antonio De Matteo,
Andrea Napoleoni, Viktorya Tori, Raffele Ottolenghi, Mauro Celaia, Maria Spelta
