Award Winning Thriller Clean Break now available across Canada

Now Available on iTunes, Shaw, Rogers on Demand and Telus

July 8, 2014 –Toronto – The award-winning thriller Clean Break is now available across Canada on iTunes, Shaw, Rogers on Demand and Telus. Distributed by Atlas Grove, the film premiered at the Atlanta Horror Film Festival where it won Best Drama Feature and then here in Canada at the Blood in the Snow Film Festival. Starring the very talented Tianna Nori (The Project: Guatemala, Last Bride Standing, The Demolisher) as Tracy and Samy Osman (Nikita) as Cam, the film has received positive reviews for it’s take on the “psycho girlfriend” genre.

“...It will get under your skin. It may even lead you to rethink your own role in some of your not- so-perfect breakups and past releationships. And what’s scarier than that.”

Horror in the Hammer “If it wasn’t her habit of killing people, she would be the perfect match for any guy.”

It also features an appearance by Bachelor Brad Smith (The Bachelor Canada) as Tracy’s first victim and Playboy Cover Model Rachelle Corbeil. Shot in just 12 days with an ultra-low budget of $15,000, Clean Break is a thriller about three roommates who are living the bachelor lifestyle, until one of them gets a girlfriend who will stop at nothing to get rid of any excess baggage.

Director Tricia Lee notes “This is a thriller from a woman’s perspective, a perspective that tries to find the humanity in the ‘psycho girlfriend’ genre. Tracy isn’t the typical two-dimensional horror villain. Sure she’ll kill to get what she wants, but she’s coming from an emotional place. And when she’s up against somebody like Cam, who has his own extreme views, it becomes a true battle of the sexes.”

Tricia’s second feature film Silent Retreat has also taken the horror world by storm winning Best Canadian Feature at Toronto After Dark and was theatrically released across Canada. Tricia has been noted by numerous outlets as a director on the rise in the horror/thriller field.
