First screening of "House of Temptation"

Doc Zee’s film “House of Temptation” had its first ever screening at the Marina Theater in San Francisco, CA on Sunday June 1, 2014.  Here are some pictures from the screening and red carpet event, along with this video of the audience’s responses after the screening.

“‘Blair Witch Project' was just a test but 'House of Temptation' proves that a first person amateur camera perspective can really work for a powerful psychological thriller. Feel it in 'House of Temptation.”
-Garlyn Woodsong

"In the beginning it piques you, then it hooks you, then it begins to pull you in. Then it lands you on the edge of your seat and it develops into a compelling psychological thriller that surprises you. You expect it to be something which it is not.
-Michael Levine

"House of Temptation' is an interesting and compelling psychological thriller based on middle American religiosity that will surprise you at every turn up until the final scene.
-Joel Kohlman

“House Of Temptation utilizes the haunted house as a metaphor to juxtapose the story of  a simple family in the midst of a serious test of their spiritual values. A seemingly solid family structure disintegrates when they are tempted to stray from their virtues and thereby defy their religious beliefs by a mysterious force. The family's most innocent member, Johnnie, must put the pieces together in order to solve the mystery of his family's fall from grace and redeem them.”
-Charles Williams

About the film:

House of Temptation is a film about a fifteen year old boy, Johnnie, who wants to help his father regain his faith. This film is particularly unique because the entire film is shot and seen through Johnnie's camera.
