ARCANE PRODUCTIONS Launches Its First Web Series, SHADOW BOUND On Halloween Night!

Welcome to the town of Veritas; an old place with a long memory.  A place of shadows and hidden terrors long forgotten by the modern world of the 1930s. But as famed horror writer, Jack Pickman, soon discovers, some things in the shadows are best left forgotten.

SHADOW BOUND is a five episode black-and-white silent horror web series. The series follows famed horror writer, Jack Pickman, as he returns to his childhood home after the mysterious death of his estranged father. Jack finds his brother institutionalized in an asylum and later discovers evidence insisting that his father’s last case was the cause of his untimely death. Jack sets out with his two childhood friends to uncover the truth of the disturbing happenings in Veritas. However, as their investigation unfolds, Jack finds himself in a desperate race to save the world from an ancient evil emerging from the shadows.

Arcane Productions aims to create a unique and original horror experience with SHADOW BOUND Silent Horror Web Series.  Shadow Bound is a black-and-white silent horror serial with homages to the works of H.P. Lovecraft and the original 1920s silent film masterpieces; however, it is not a strict recreation of that style. By using HD video technology, guerilla filmmaking techniques, and a mixture of practical and computer generated effects, they have created a truly terrifying and visceral tale for the modern audience.

SHADOW BOUND premieres October 31^st, at 11:59pm.  Episode One: Obscura Initia will go live on www.shadowboundseries.com.
