Another day, another confession. One day in the life of LAPD homicide detective, Henry Cardenas. The smart and dedicated veteran of nearly 30 years is known on the force for his skills in eliciting confessions during interrogation.  Today, Henry faces his most challenging interrogation ever, in the person of Vince Marins, a brilliant and highly unusual murder suspect. Over one night, Vince and Henry play an escalating game of chess that takes them both beyond their limits.
