Local spooky artists, costumers and entertainers are
encouraging Arizonans to embrace vintage Halloween culture - the creative and
the macabre - with a kick-off festival this month. Sano Fitness Studio presents
the second annual Keen Halloween on September 28 - 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.,
Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday.

Vendors
include: AZ Haunters, Bookmans, Cult Classics, Dollipop Cosmetics, Vintage
Halloween, and more.
Workshops including: “Top 5 Haunted Locations in AZ,” “Making Zombies:
Makeup How-To,” “The Mission Creeps,” “Build a Float Crank Ghost Puppet,” and
more.
Entertainment:
Entertainment
will feature a variety of odd acts and strange shows, and the return of the
Scarecrow King Photo Booth. The
Mission Creeps will be playing Saturday night. This band is a spooky-dark
delight, and they’ll be playing an acoustic set for everyone at Keen!
An Evil Genius Costume Bar: Get expert help on making an awesome
costume!
The
Iron Skull Costume Challenge – 3 teams of experts will have 45 minutes to
create a Halloween Costume from household materials.
A Creepy Crafts Tent – Where you can get your hands dirty making some
Halloween masks & crafts!
Keen
