“Four years back I wrote the screenplay for The Ravenmocker, which generated a good amount of buzz. We were going to produce the film under my old production banner, but eventually it went on the shelf. The thing is, though, the concept of The Ravenmocker is just too twisted and commercial to let fade into the background.

...and this is where the graphic novel comes in.

I'm producing a horror anthology this year with a group of amazing people ( I Scream You Scream) and I wrote a segment that was inspired by the main character in The Ravenmocker. Without giving much away, the original story ties the Cherokee myth of the raven mocker and the first real life "vampire" -- Elizabeth Bathory -- together in a unique way. While the graphic novel will be inspired by the original concept of The Ravenmocker, it will be a brand new take with new characters, plot, etc. But it will be just as intense...”
