Let The Riverbeast Get You! is from the same filmmakers who brought you Freaky
Farley and Monsters, Marriage, and Murder in Manchvegas. Like those two
films Riverbeast was shot in New England, and features local amateur actors
doing their best with a wild script. This is true independent
filmmaking--just a group of friends working long hours together, and draining
their savings accounts in order to create an original and unforgettable feature
film!
When they're not making movies, Matt Farley, Charles Roxburgh and Tom
Scalzo are watching as many obscure VHS horror movies made in rural America in
the 1970s and 1980s. These old movies provide them with inspiration for
their own pictures.

Synopsis:
A
vicious monster has arisen from its watery lair! It's the Riverbeast, and he's
threatening a peaceful New England town. Local tutor Neil Stuart has seen the
beast before, but nobody believed his story, making him the town laughingstock.
Neil sets out to not only prove that the Riverbeast exists, but also, with the
help of his beautiful pupil, scrappy tutor buddies, and a former professional
athlete to vanquish the aquatic menace!
