K.C.L.
(Kamp Crystal Lake) is a Horrorcore Rap duo made up of FLATLINE and DARK BLOOD.
The 2 formed K.C.L. after crossing paths in 2010 and working on many shows
together then joining forces to bring their passion for the dark wicked style
Hip Hop together as 1 making listeners their victims as they slay mics and
audiences by the masses.
FLATLINE
is an Acid Rap artist/ Producer hailing from the South Side of Buffalo, NY.
entering music in 1999 recording multiple singles and mixtapes.
Influenced by a life long filled love for all genres of music, he found his
niche in writing deep personal struggles, lacing it with horror, comedy, and
fantasy. In 2000 he released The War Within Oneself releasing few copies on the
streets, then focused his attention on his career as an independent
professional wrestler traveling the northeast United States and Southern
Canada. In 2004 Flatline delved more into the music scene and went
on to form the rap duo; Ten Secondz From Postal with longtime homie Asshole Don
releasing their debut project entitled Dirt Poor the Album. They took to the
stage cycling a steady base of fans and within the next 3 years Flatline
released 6 more albums both solo and as a member of T.S.F.P. before the group
parted ways. Flatline kept moving forward performing live with solo sets over
the next 2 years and in the fall of 2008 a short reunion of T.S.F.P. took to
the stage for the next 6 months before the group officially disbanded
operation. In the Summer of 2009 Flatline returned to a solo career where
he experimented and broadened his sound and production skills both musically
and as a songwriter. Playing over 200 shows in a span of 5 years, Flatline
began hosting a monthly show in 2010 called The Thursday Night Spook Show,
Flatline booked Dark Blood as a performer on the show which led to the talk of
collaborating together thus leading to K.C.L.
DARK
BLOOD is a Horrorcore Rap artist hailing from the small neighborhood of Lovejoy
on the East Side of Buffalo, NY. Dark Bluud was influenced by friends who were
fans of Insane Clown Posse and other musicians such as Linkin Park, Eminem,
Notorious B.I.G., Big Pun and later on Tech N9ne, Potluck and many more. D.B.'s
music career began when he was in a detention center where he met MSK
(MindSlaughterKid) who recorded 5 songs with no beats on the councilor's
laptop. After his release D.B. met another local rapper, who together became
Bluud and Dre. The group released a short EP titled Synergy. While working on
their next release, problems developed with the group and they
disbanded. Immediately after, Dark Bluud recorded his first and only solo LP
titled Nectophobia. While opening for Wolfpac, Dark Bluud met Flatline and the
2 continued to work together performing at the Thursday Night Spook Show until
the 2 joined with D.B.'s childhood friend Joe aka Joeker and the 3 became
K.C.L. Kamp Crystal Lake.
