In The Bleak Midwinter (Press Release)

IN THE BLEAK MIDWINTER

M. R. Sellars’ Latest Novel Begins New Series Featuring Recurring RGI Character FBI Special Agent Constance Mandalay

November 2011 will see the release of  author, M.R. Sellars’, thirteenth supernatural thriller and the first full-length spin-off from the Rowan Gant Investigations series of novels.

The story features FBI Special Agent Constance Mandalay, a recurring character from the RGI books and is based upon the hit novella, Merrie Axemas, which was penned by Sellars and released solely as an e-book during the 2010 Christmas season as a gift to his fans.

In The Bleak Midwinter explores the 35 year old case that has literally come back to haunt a small town in Northern Missouri in much more depth, with back story, twists, and surprises not contained in the original short novella.

J. T. Ellison, author of the best selling Taylor Jackson Novels says:

“M.R. Sellars has crafted a superbly creepy supernatural thriller that sucks you in from the very first line and doesn’t let you go until long after you close the covers. IN THE BLEAK MIDWINTER reads like oldschool M. Night Shyamalan with a dash of a John Connolly police procedural. Good stuff!”

The Horror Fiction Review says:

"IN THE BLEAK MIDWINTER is a well written mystery with a paranormal slant. The gruesome murders and child-abuse back story will keep the attention of any fan of dark fiction. It's difficult to put down and will make a satisfying, spooky read on a cold night this coming holiday season."
