Off the Rails and Other Tales

Award winning director, Jason Liquori, has written and directed independent suspense movies like “Stopped Dead” and “Savaged”. Early in his career he brought home-video audiences vampires and werewolves with “The Lunar Pack”. In the pages of this book he has been able to let his imagination run free without the restrictions of low budgets and short production schedules.

In this collection he has assembled tales of monsters, aliens, lunatics, cowboys, a caveman, a Nazi and more.

Each story tackles horror or science fiction through the eyes of
different characters and in different ways, but throughout the book the feeling of isolation and facing danger “alone,” cut off from the world, prevails.

Here are a couple of early reviews for this collection of short stories:

“This was a really fun book to read. The short stories are well written and before you know it you are finished with the book! I especially enjoyed "Banker's Hours" and think it would be a fun movie! I enjoy the twists and turns the author writes in to the stories. This was a great collection and I recommend it to anyone who likes short stories and horror.”

“I enjoy stories that scare me just enough so that I'm not horrified but rather eager to find out what's coming next. Some of the short stories here do just that. The author also has a knack for bringing a colorful blend of characters from all walks of life together in a crisis. I found myself invested in learning how all, or most, of the characters managed their way through the twists and turns coming at them all throughout. Really enjoyed it.”
