Hemlock
Lake is a quaint little town. But it is autumn, and this tiny summer home
community is eerily quiet except for nine-year-old Angie Appleton, riding her
bicycle down the empty rural road and up the driveway of a picturesque lakeside
cottage, a 'SOLD' sign on the front lawn. The Appletons have just moved
in.
Jack
(Peter Stebbings) and Liz (Sarah Manninen) have moved to Hemlock Lake for a
fresh start. But Liz suffers from blinding migraines that cause her to black
out, and "see things." She tries to control the visions, first with
sheer willpower, and later with medication. When Jack realises that Liz hasn't been imagining things,
and that they are being stalked, Jack and Liz must prevent the intruders from
getting the one thing they want... little Angle Appleton.
Packed
with twists and turns that will genuinely keep you guessing to the very end –
and a last shot that will make you want to watch the film all over again,
immediately – Separation is directed by Greg White ("does a
masterful job – Aint It Cool), with a supporting cast that includes Barbara
Gordon (Dead Ringers) and Al Sapienza (The Sopranos). Separation will be available
EXCLUSIVELY at TheHorrorShow.TV this October (date TBC), marking the
latest among a growing catalogue of exclusives at the UK's only VOD/streaming
platform.
