Here comes another way another way to promote horror... "Promote your Writing." Basically, this is your chance to post an article on PromoteHorror.com, and it will be promoted just like the promotions. With that, here are the requirements for having your article posted:
- It has to be an article or opinion piece, not a review.
- Please try to keep it between 500-1000 words.
- It must be your own work.
- Please keep the writing as professional as possible. No profanity.
- Your name and a link can be included at the bottom of the article. The credit for the article is all yours.
- PromoteHorror.com must review the article before posting, and has final say as to whether to post it or not.
- PromoteHorror.com will not make any changes to the article except for formatting to make sure it fits nicely on the site, and a disclaimer stating that "the opinions in the article are those of the writer and not necessarily PromoteHorror.com."
- Understand that you are not writing for PromoteHorror.com, and will not be paid for the article.
- Lastly the article must be horror related!
Bonus: Some people have interrupted this as being a way to create their own promotion through an article, and that’s fine. As a matter of fact, if you would like to create your own promotion, submit it through an email, and it will be considered for the site as well.
If you are interested in submitting an article or have any questions, please send an email to:
Sounds like a great way for people to spread the word about their various horror projects!

ReplyDeleteThir13en: A Tale of Two Brothers
ReplyDeleteA Novel.
Synopsis:
The year 2083 isn’t pretty. A strange plague has turned 98% of the world’s population into violent, zombie-like creatures known as the Infected. The remaining 2% of the population live in three sectors that are precariously protected by the Earth’s Viral Defenses (EVD), the new global government. And if that isn’t bad enough, strange, ominous lights have started to appear in the sky.
In a world such as this – one where survival is often measured in hours or days rather than in months or years – friends and family are everything. That’s why 17-year-old Conner Weston and his older brother Tyson will stop at nothing to find each other after having been separated four years earlier during the initial Outbreak. Individually, the brothers’ paths become entwined with the Thirteen, an elite faction of mercenaries who have been contracted by the government to rescue survivors outside of the EVD’s protected sectors. At last the brothers have a chance to be reunited, that is, if they can stay alive long enough.

Hi everyone, my name is Keegan Nielsen. I have a rare form of Fukuyama Muscular Dystrophy, and I am relegated to a wheelchair with little use of my arms. Recently, I have published a novel. It took me six years to write, edit, and publish. Any support would be greatly appreciated. You won't be disappointed by this thrilling novel.
**Makes a great Christmas present.**
