LOS

theatrical trailer for next summer’s Insidious: Chapter 3, Cherry
Glazerr’s fresh interpretation, produced by the band’s frequent collaborator
Carlos de la Garza, is being issued in full today on the officialInsidious Facebook

horror series is written and directed by franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell.

Focus
Features will release Insidious: Chapter 3 domestically
nationwide on Friday, May 29th, 2015. Jason Blum of Blumhouse, who
produced both previous movies in the series, is producing the next installment
with returning producer Oren Peli and franchise co-creator James Wan, who
directed the two earlier films written by Mr. Whannell with story by Mr. Wan
and Mr. Whannell. Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Steven Schneider, Charles Layton, and
Xavier Marchand are executive-producing Insidious: Chapter 3.
Praised
by LA Weekly for its “spunky dream pop,” Cherry
Glazerr consists of frontwoman/guitaristClementine Creevy, drummer Hannah Uribe, and
bassist Sean Redman. Their first two albums, Papa Cremp and Hazel
Princess, were released by Burger Records. Based in and around Los Angeles
and Orange County, the trio has been championed and photographed by French
fashion designer Hedi Slimane of Saint Laurent,
who commissioned a song from the band for his Women's Runway at Fashion
Week in Paris. The resulting song, “Had Ten Dollaz,” captured Cherry
Glazerr's dualities: sultry and virulent, sophisticated yet casual, laid-back
and bombastic, playful yet deliberate. Suicide Squeeze Records issued
“Had Ten Dollaz” with the equally intoxicating B-side “Nurse
Ratched” as a limited-edition 7” single, also available digitally.
Cherry Glazerr is at work on new songs with Mr. de la Garza producing, and continues
to play music festivals.
