INK is a short body/creature horror film that explores
themes of body, motherhood, obsession and myth. It's a snapshot of
Joey's life at a moment when fear and longing meet with forces unknown to bring
forth a nameless terror.
After
a pregnancy scare, JOEY marks the occasion with a new tattoo and a drunken
night of distraction. When she arrives home in the early hours of the
morning, she’s confronted with the truth about what she really wants and the
past that's driven her to the brink of obsession. Her desires and
circumstances intersect to awaken a monster who answers her unwitting call.
