This
Halloween, a petrifying attraction starred by scary mortals and zombie-like
Aztec Indians will take over South Florida’s favorite haunt to provide visitors
with 20 nights of hair-raising events. Presented by Florida Event Productions
and Jungle Island, Terror in the Jungle will also boast a VIP Zombie Lounge by
E11even Miami, the exclusive after-party sponsor.
From the creator of Festival of Souls (Demon Mansion), voted Florida's
Scariest Haunted House by Hauntworld.com, Terror
in the Jungle will feature a chilling 40 x 22-foot Toxic Zombie
Jungle Entrance leading guests through five acres of terrorizing
jungle paths and a 10,000 square-foot ancient Ruins Pyramid Haunted House.
Carefully navigate a dark jungle filled with zombies, demons and military
HAZMAT containment units all while being chased by wild creatures. Many more
surprises wait inside the Ruins Pyramid, which will give even the fearless the
fright of their life.
I got the opportunity to experience Terror in the Jungle,
and it certainly lives up to its name. It starts off with a giant gorilla, and
snake waiting for you at the entrance. They are great to take pictures of, as
you can see I did, but after that the fun is over! Once you walk through the
temple entrance prepare to be scared!
Before
reaching the Ruins Pyramid, you must navigate your way through an extremely
dark jungle. Because this haunted event is actually set in Parrot Jungle, it
provides a perfectly real jungle for the scare actors to hide in. Trust me when
I say there will be some that jump out, and you will have no idea they are
there. Most of the path is completely dark, and if you've never been there it
can be unnerving to walk through. There are some demons, and zombies that make
themselves visible, and you should be thankful you could see them, as opposed
to what's hiding in the bushes.
Take a deep breath when you reach the pyramid, and
prepare to be scared all over again. Just as the path to get there is dark,
there are many rooms in the pyramid that are equally as dark. In some cases you
won't see what is coming until it's too late. As you make your way through the
darkness, you will be able to hear the screams, and sounds of the unsettled
natives that aren't too happy that you are there. In some haunted houses you
will see a victim on a table ready to be worked on by some crazy person. In one
of the rooms here, you get to see two huge wolves making sure you have not come
to steal their meal. There is another great room where more victims have been impaled
on large spikes. While you are looking left and right for creatures don't
forget to look above you as well.
This lovely young lady (pictured below) is one of the
stars of the event. While there are many great rooms in the pyramid, you
certainly won't leave there forgetting her room. You will be able to hear her
before walking into her room, and you positively will be able to hear her once
inside of it. All she wants is someone who is brave enough to play dolls with!
With all of that said, I hope you get a chance to make
your way through the jungle, and experience this haunted house. There is plenty
of terror in this jungle! And for the truly scared, there is a VIP lounge for
those who might need a drink before, and after their terrifying
experience.
