Black Fawn Distribution set to release "The Door"

BLACK FAWN DISTRIBUTION SET TO RELEASE “THE DOOR” ON DVD, RELEASE EXCLUSIVE FIRST CLIP ON-LINE

(Toronto, ON) – Switchblade Studios and Good Soldier Films have awarded the Canadian home video rights for their new horror feature THE DOOR to Black Fawn Distribution. The film will be released on DVD in Canada on October 28, 2014. Juice Worldwide will release the film through iTunes and other digital platforms on October 14, 2014.

Synopsis:

Unemployed and broke, Owen (Sam Kantor) is having a terrible week. It's not until he saves a wealthy Japanese businessman from a couple of thugs that Owen's luck begins to change. He's promised an easy job with very good pay. $500 a night. 5 nights a week. All Owen has to do is wear a uniform, sit in a chair and make sure that an ominous door is never opened. Following an unexpected late night visit, Owen soon finds himself stepping into the darkness, unsure if he will survive the night or escape the fate that waits for him behind The Door.

 

About Patrick McBrearty:

Patrick McBrearty began his film and television career not by attending film school, but by volunteering on film sets around the city of Toronto. After working in various crew positions, McBrearty began writing and directing short films. His first feature film was the low budget horror flick PHYCHO WARD, which was released in 2009 through Lions Gate in the United States and by Maple Pictures in Canada. In 2010, McBrearty directed his second feature film, BOUNTY HUNTERS which starred former 7-time WWE Women's Wrestling Champion Trish Stratus and went on to premiere at ActionFest.
