The Zombie Walk of Alexandria, LA, is an event
organized by the Cenla Zombie Association, which raises funds and awareness for
local charitable organizations who are often overlooked. It is an alcohol and
smoke free public family event.
Each year, the size of the walk grows and the money
raised for the chosen charitable organization increases. In 2014, we had over
4,000 in attendance and donated $2,200 to the Friendship House - http://www.friendship-house.net/. Our past walks have also been for: the Muscular
Dystrophy Association and the Cenla Autism Network
10.17.2015 marks the 7th Annual Zombie Walk of
Alexandria and we are raising money for the Cenla area Special Olympics of
Louisiana. (Cenla = Central Louisiana)
We are looking for both Title and Event sponsors to
help make this event possible and any person(s) or business that would be
interested in donating "loot" items, also known as prizes, for our
zombie costume contest.
Even
if you can’t be a sponsor, we encourage you to help out this charity event in
any way you can!
