Minnesota Indie Horror "Lake Runs Red" Releases 1st Full Trailer

The producers of “Lake Runs Red,” an independently produced homeinvasion horror feature, will release their first full trailer, an explosive vignette focusing on the film's main antagonist, "Bruce", expertly played by actor CJ DeVaan. It will be released via their official YouTube channel, YouTube.com/user/LakeRunsRed on Tuesday July 14th, 2015.

"Lake Runs Red" is employing a unique trailer strategy for their marketing campaign. Instead of releasing a standard two minute trailer, the film is instead releasing five character trailers, each focusing on one of the main characters from the film. This is the first full trailer in a series of five, the remaining four will be released over the balance of the summer and fall.

“I think people will really respond to CJ's performance as Bruce. As far as horror villains go, his performance is among the greats. It's iconic. It's volatile and nuanced. It's mysterious. There's more to this character's story than meets the eye. I'm so proud of CJ. This role is going to make him a star in the Twin Cities performance community," said director and producer Jason Riesgraf.

Lake Runs Red released two previous teaser trailers on October 31, 2014 and April 1, 2015 to remarkable fanfare. Principal photography for “Lake Runs Red” began in July 2014 and ended November 2014. Film Synopsis:
