Blood Reunion 2: Madeline

  With their latest feature, Blood Reunion, now in release and their next feature Jebadiah's Axe now in post-production, indie filmmaker Jim DeVault and his team at it again. They are preparing to begin production in early 2014 on the sequel to Blood Reunion, Blood Reunion 2: Madeline.

  “We have started the preliminary casting,” says DeVault, “and location scouting. Our location needs for this project are simpler, but very specific, so we expect it to take several months to find the right place.” According to the director, specific names are being seriously considered for some roles in the project, but “it’s still way too early to make any announcements,” though one definite part has been cast. DeVault will reprise his uncredited role in the original Blood Reunion as a vampire.

  “Coming fresh off production of Jebadiah's Axe and Blood Reunion,” producer Nicki Rauscher says, “I'm looking forward to producing Blood Reunion 2 with our dedicated crew and new as well as familiar faces in the cast. Each movie turns out better than the previous one and I'm sure this one won't be an exception. Keep your eyes peeled for it!”

  The plot of Blood Reunion 2 or BR2 for brevity, like the original, revolves around a family reunion, but BR2 is promising to ramp up the level of horror over its predecessor, while still maintaining its unique sense of humor.
