Distributor
Partners with Sites to Celebrate IPTV Premiere of Blind
Director's Debut
Feature
(TAMPA,
FL) Commodity Films has announced that TheHorrorNation.net, HalloweenForevermore.com and
Texas Terror Entertainment have joined forces to celebrate the
IPTV premiere of THE BUNKER, the history-making film by the world's first
blind feature film director, Joseph M. Monks. It's free to enter, and
winners of the DVDs - all signed by Monks and several by the film's star,
Terry M. West (Flesh for the Beast) - will be announced on
Black Friday, November 28th.
"Picking
the sites we wanted to help wasn't tough," says Monks. "Terry
West is running HalloweenForevermore.com,
I've been a featured writer on Texas Terror, and we all felt that Horror
Nation is one of the fastest-growing sites in all of horror. Commodity
Films and I were thrilled to partner up to give away copies to true horror
fans."
The
signed DVDs - Monks wouldn't agree to a distribution deal that
didn't include a DVD pressing - will include the feature, starring West
and sexy newcomer Saskia Gonzalez, who portray a sadistic serial killer
and the runaway teenage daughter of a New York City congressman,
respectively, whose paths cross when West snatches her off the streets of
lower Manhattan. Part race-against-time suspense film, part
psychological thriller, The Bunker packs enough twists and turns to keep
festival audiences (like the Gasparilla International Film Festival, where
Monks won the Achievement in Cinema award), rapt, and reviewers like Tom
Carnell of Fangoria and the folks at Rue Morgue Radio glowing about the
groundbreaking project.
