For over 35 years, FANGORIA has been a trusted
institution in the horror community, offering unique insights into every aspect
of horror culture. And in spreading its brand, FANGORIA has sought to bring
fright fans the latest and greatest in the world of horror, which is why the
Mile High Horror Film Festival is proud to announce our media partnership with
FANGORIA. For our first announcement with this partnership, FANGORIA will
present the 30th Anniversary Screening of THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD with
star and horror icon Linnea Quigley in attendance.
That's
right, Dan O'Bannon's brilliant horror comedy will screen at this year's Mile
High Horror Film Festival, which takes place at the Alamo Drafthouse in
Littleton, Colorado from October 1st to the 4th. In the punk rock spirit of the
film, this one-night-only screening of THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD will be
shown on VHS, which retains the original soundtrack for the flick. And
following the film, scream queen Linnea Quigley will participate in a Q&A
session moderated by FANGORIA's Managing Web Editor, Ken W. Hanley.
Furthermore, FANGORIA will be offering an exclusive RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD
poster at the event, which will be revealed exclusively on FANGORIA.com closer
to the festival.
"Between Mile High and Stanley, Colorado is becoming the place to
be for horror hounds," said Hanley. "Besides the beautiful locale and
the excellent people over at Mile High as well as the Alamo Drafthouse, this
year's MHHFF will be not be one to miss. And with FANGORIA working together
with the festival, Mile High looks be the perfect place for die-hard horror
fanatics to kick off their Halloween season."
This
announcement will be the first of many in Mile High Horror Film Festival's
partnership with FANGORIA, so stay tuned for more to come. In the mean time,
