Horror feature "Book of Ash" announced!

Horror feature, "Book of Ash" announced. Featuring; Lynn Lowry, Timothy Patrick Quill, and John Dugan. 

Lock it Down Productions (Provoked, Dead Bounty) have announced their next project they will be bringing to life, the horror feature "Book of Ash". 

Written and directed by Jordan Pacheco and produced by David Langill, "Book of Ash" will mark the third feature this duo has teamed up to make.  Horror veterans Lynn Lowry (The Crazies), Timothy Patrick Quill (Army of Darkness, My Name is Bruce), and the grandfather of horror John Dugan, who's best known for playing Grandpa in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre are all attached to be featured in "Book of Ash". 

Langill states, "With this group of horror veterans involved, Book of Ash is shaping up to be something intense and the subject matter involved terrifies me, it's very real in my opinion." 

Synopsis:

History major Audrey Barrows uncovers a ancient book with a dark past, "The Book of Ash". Audrey discovers the ink used to write the ancient text is made from the ashes of human sacrifices. The deeper she delves into the book's history, the more she loses her own soul.

Pacheco adds, "Much like Audrey awakens something in this film, Book of Ash has re-awakened my passion. Writing this script has jump started an already powerful drive and love for film. This is going to be our most terryfing yet beautiful film to date. We have already signed some incredible cast members and have stunning scenes being drawn out. I'm already in love with this film."

"Book of Ash" is slated for a 2015 release.
