Reign of the Damned is an animated short film trilogy
set during the rise of a supernatural zombie epidemic in a late 1800s era New Orleans brothel with each of the characters representing the 22 tarot
cards of the Major Arcana. Each installment will be approximately 15
minutes long. Other than the addition of a zombie uprising, Reign of
the Damned will be a historically and geographically accurate representation of
New Orleans and its many social problems at the time.
Reign of the Damned will be my final project before
graduation and will also serve as part of my demo reel as I prepare to enter
the job market. The script, several character designs and set designs are
nearly complete and ready for story-boarding. However, a lot of what I'll
be able to do past that point depends on the equipment I have available.
