The final display - debuting at the Horror Realm Convention, Fall 2013 - will measure at least 24 x 36 and will be built in 1:87 scale, the same as HO scale trains. It will feature a desolate landscape showcasing a cemetery and a long-abandoned run-down church. Near the display will be a record book and map detailing the names of all believed to be buried in the nearly forgotten plot of land. (a.k.a. The supporters list)
It is being built from scratch; the platform, the landscape, the terrain, trees, gravestones, structures and figures all need to be created and/or purchased and customized in order to make this happen. A project of this caliber is just not possible without some financial help from others.
There are two ways in which you can help make this Miniature Cemetery happen:
First, to be guaranteed a spot you can purchase either a Personal Plot for $10, or a "Grave-in-a-box" for $25. With either purchase you will take home a certificate with a plot number to locate your spot on the HR Fall display! Both purchases also include a chance to be upgraded to a Crypt or win the custom Grand Mausoleum!
If you're feeling lucky, the second way is to purchase "Toe Tag Raffle Tickets", which will enter you into the Daily Drawing. One name will be drawn per 10 tickets sold each day.
Here's the details of the drawings:
DAILY DRAWING
Names will be drawn 1/2 hour before closing, Fri, Sat and Sun
1 Personal Plot drawn for each 10 entries
1 Crypt drawn each day
GRAND MAUSOLEUM DRAWING
1/2 before closing on Sunday ( +1 Crypt drawn each day)
1 Customized Grand Mausoleum prominently placed on the layout at the fall convention.
The Mausoleum will feature your last name (or initial) engraved into it!
The Mausoleum will be drawn at the end of the day Sunday, March 17th
Added bonuses:
First four sales each day ($10+) get either a "fresh grave" or flowers added to their plot!
As mentioned, the raffle will take place this weekend at Horror Realm’s Spring Break Massacre and Irish Wake. For details on the event, please visit:
