Soldiers of the Damned - New Quad Artwork!

It’s the Eastern Front, 1944. The Russians are pushing the German Army back through Romania. Major Kurt Fleischer, war-weary commander of an elite troop of German soldiers, is ordered to escort a female scientist into a mysterious forest behind enemy lines to retrieve an ancient relic. As his men begin to disappear in strange circumstances Fleischer realises that the scientist is part of Himmler’s occult department and there is something in the forest that is far more deadly than the Russians.

The film has now got an amazing new quad poster to be used for the upcoming release. It encompasses both the horror/thriller and the war/action elements and gives us a glimpse of what the filmmakers have in store for us.

"A supernatural Nazi horror film to rival Michael Mann's THE KEEP **** Stars" Nerdly

"A blood-soaked blitzkrieg of mayhem and terror." - Scream:The Horror Magazine

"If Sam Raimi made a film featuring Nazis, then Soldiers of the Damned might well be the result." FromPage2Screen

“The True Horror of War...Dark & Creepy" UKHorrorScene

"The poster was created by the talented guys at Obviously Creative (obviouslycreative.co.uk), who have done an amazing job of portraying the mood and genre of the film" said producer Stephen Rigg.

The SOTD team are now gearing up for the release of the film which promises to surprise and scare in equal measures. Producer Nigel Horne says the UK release through Safecracker Pictures is due late summer, with many foreign territories already sold. “Safecracker are now concentrating on a Cinema and multi-platform release and we are currently working with them on some fantastic extra’s for the DVD"

Director Mark Nuttall said "We've worked hard to get this film to where it is now, and are very excited to get it out to our audience."

The team at Blackdog/Viking have also released a short trailer/promo for the film, which is a behind-the-scenes short looking at the shooting of just one of the amazing action sequences in the film. It features interviews from writer/producer Nigel Horne and several of the main cast, who talk about the scene and some of the effects used to create it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-YyGX__xcY
