Hell
Town, USA—The horror soap-opera HELL TOWN has received six Crimson Screen
Horror Award nominations. The film is up for BEST FATURE, BEST ACTOR
(Owen Lawless), BEST ACTRESS (Amanda Deibert), BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY (Daniel
Stephens), BEST SCREENPLAY, and BEST DIRECTOR (for Steve Balderson and
Elizabeth Spear).
Crimson
Screen Horror Film Fest will show HELL TOWN on Saturday, 16 May at 7pmin
Charleston, SC. Steve Balderson and much of the cast will be in
attendance. The festival is open to the public.
The
award trophies, featuring a gold hang and dagger, are designed by THE CONJURING
and ANNABELLE special effects artist Tony Rosen, who designed the famous
“Annabelle” doll for both films. The Awards Ceremony closes the
festival on Sunday, May 17.
“We hellions are thrilled and honored,” Balderson says of the
nominations. “I’m excited to experience Crimson Screen and share HELL
TOWN again. It’s a total riot watching it with an audience.”
