Productions and Lony Ruhman is proud to announce well-known
genre actor and stunt-man Matt Lasky has joined the cast of
itssupernatural psychological thriller feature “Good Family Times.”
Synopsis:
Meet
Beatrice. She’s happily married, has a darling young son, and she’s a talented
artist. Her home is a happy one. Beatrice dotes on her family, and they love
her back. Too bad her husband and child are not exactly… alive. When Beatrice
comes into some money, another family – one that’s not quite so happy – decides
they’re more deserving of the dough and set out to rob her by breaking into her
home under the cover of night. In the course of that one evil evening, both
families soon learn the true meaning of ‘blood relations’.
Matt
Lasky plays one of the home-invaders, Shasta. Shasta is unusually observant…
but in spite of his ability to see danger coming, he still manages to find
himself in deep trouble. Lasky’s career is on the upswing, with
a role in the recent horror hit “The Purge: Anarchy”, and a
featured turn in an episode of the top-rated CBS series, Scorpion (“Once Bitten,
Twice Die”).Aside from “Good Family Times” look for Lasky (and our
own Jennifer Blanc) in the gothichorror film “Havenhurst.”
The rest
of the cast features Arielle Brachfeld (“Watch Me
Die”), Jennifer Blanc (“Everly”,“The Victim”, “Hidden in
the Woods”), Elissa Dowling (“We Are Still Here”), THE Richard aka Richard
Cardinal (“Fetish
Factory”, “Psychophonia”), Sean Keller (“The Cartridge
Family”), Aaron Kai (“Day for Night”), Nick Nicholson (“Altered
Perception”), and Nikita Black (“Fembot”, “Psychophonia”, “The
Lincoln”).
The
main character of Beatrice is played by sexy scream queen Brachfeld, who is
known for her work in genre films such as “The Haunting of Whaley House”,
“Return of the Ghostbusters”, and “LOVE: As You Like It”. Arielle is
actively involved in several charity organizations including The Horror
Starlets, a group that fund-raises to fight breast cancer, and The Young
Storytellers Foundation which encourages literacy through the arts.
“Good
Family Times” is based on a story by producer Lony Ruhmann (“Psychophonia”). It
is written and directed by award-winning filmmaker and cinema pundit Staci
Layne Wilson (“Fetish Factory”, “The Night Plays Tricks”). “Good Family Times”
is produced by Blanc-Biehn Productions (“Hidden in the Woods”), created by
famed husband and wife filmmaking team, Michael Biehn (“Terminator”) and
Jennifer Blanc-Biehn (“The Crow”). It is also produced by Danny Bellens, Tony DeBenedetto
(“Treachery”, “Psychophonia”, “Jacob”), Cynthia Paredes,
Garrett Longley, and Jenimay Walker (“Psychophonia”, “The
Lincoln”).
Cinematographer
Steve Romano, whose credits include Blanc-Biehn Productions’ “She Rises”, “The
Night Visitor”, and “Altered Perception”, has also shot music videos for
Beyonce (“Rocket”), Vassy (“Beautiful”), and many more.
Original score by Randy Chance, a former member of rock supergroup The
Lovin’ Spoonful (“Do You Believe in Magic?”), with additional songs by
up-and-coming Japanese heavy metal band, MergingMoon (“Greyen”).

Producer
Tony DeBenedetto launched his career in 2011 with the multi-award winning
independent film “Jacob”. In March of 2014, he established his own
production company, Javelina 98 Productions, Inc. He partnered with Scott
W. Perry with Slick Devil Entertainment on two projects in 2014 - a short film
entitled “Once, When I was Dead” and a Web Series entitled “In Fear Of” which
was awarded the 2014 Best Web Series by the Macabre Faire FilmFestival in New
York. Tony is currently working on an “In Fear Of” television pilot. He
has teamed up as a producer with Blanc-Biehn Productions on several projects in
the past few years. Some of the projects included are “Treachery”, “She
Rises”, “Psychophonia”, “Fetish Factory”, “Hidden in the Woods”, and most
recently, “Good Family Times”. Operating out of the Houston, Texas area,
Tony is making it his mission to “Bringing you the galaxy, one star at a time.”
Producer
Jenimay Walker is an actress with roots in theatre, singing, burlesque and
contemporary dance. Born in the West-Island of Montreal, Canada, Jenimay’s
passion for the theatre arts began in childhood. She was in The Pauline
Rathbone Children's Theatre in Montreal, Ottawa school of Contemporary dance
and is currently pursuing an acting career in Los Angeles, California. Jenimay
has trained with top Meisner coach Jacqueline McClintock, she has studied the
technique of Uta Hagen in Florida and other prominent acting teachers in North
America. Jenimay’s performing career began to evolve in 2007, as she landed the
role of Janis Weiss in the live musical theatre production of the cult classic
'Rocky Horror'. Jenimay played the role of Janet, for 3 consecutive years in
reputable Montreal venues. She has acted in over 40 theatre shows in Toronto
and Montreal and sold out performances in a popular Burlesque troupe and then
as a solo performer in various events all over Canada. Shortly thereafter
Jenimay moved to South Beach, Miami where she was a professional go-go/showgirl
dancer in some of the most prominent venues and events in Miami, including,
Liv, Set and The Ultra Music Festival. Following this, Jenimay was in two
critically acclaimed short films which both went to Cannes Film Festival and
many other festivals, “Serpent’s Lullaby” starring Jenimay Walker and “Ceramic
Tango”. Jenimay moved to LA permanently in 2014. She has been working with
Blanc-Beihn Productions in “Fetish Factory” she played ‘Rosie’ directed by
Staci Layne Wilson. A principal role in “Psychophonia” as ‘Angel’, directed by
Brianne Davis. A producer credit in “Good Family Times”, directed by Staci
Layne Wilson. Jenimay was also in “The End of April” directed by Larry Wade
Carrell. Jenimay will also be acting in “Fembot” and “The Lincoln” produced by
BBP in the summer of 2015.
