Tales from the Campfire

Four friends plan a camping trip at a small campground to spend an evening around a fire, telling each other campfire stories that all supposedly happened close to the area that they're staying at. Strangely enough, their campground happens to sit right beside an old creepy cemetery, named "Ha Ha Cemetery."

As the night goes on, the group slowly starts to realize their stories are starting to tie together, and what starts off as a quiet night, soon becomes a night of terror.

What would make a group of campers decide to camp out beside an old cemetery? What secrets does "Ha Ha Cemetery" hold? Prepare yourself for four deadly tales of terror.

Campfire Story #1 takes you through the twisted tale of Claire, as she revisits an old family home from her past, revealing dark secrets, only soon to discover she's not alone within the house.

Campfire Story #2 follows the tale of Jake & Chelsea as they wander into Ha Ha Cemetery looking to uncover its hidden secret, but unfortunately for them, they run into an unexpected axe wielding psychopath.

Campfire Story #3 introduces you to the tale of the Camp Black Lake campers as they discover an ancient unnamed cemetery in the middle of a forest, and an old close-by house, housing a 300 year old curse.

Campfire Story #4 concludes the final tale with the four main protagonists, revealing the truth behind the events of their Campfire Stories... except for one they didn't see coming.

More about the film…

Night of Terror Films is an independent production company founded in New Brunswick Canada, comprised of a small team of only five. Together, we had a vision to independently fund and produce our first ever feature length film locally with a budget of only $5000. As a group, we developed our script ideas into a workable screenplay, sought out potential shooting locations, drafted storyboards based on our vision of how we saw the film, and then hosted our own auditions to fill all character roles.

Pre-production for the film began over the winter months of 2014, with Principal Photography officially starting during the last week of May 2014. We were faced with many challenges during the course of the project with a very tight timeline to work with.

Our film is best described as an anthology, telling the tales of four short stories that eventually all tie together with the main wrap-around story. It has an old-school feel and was inspired by classic 80s style horror.
