Undeterred
by the recent BBFC ban of their planned first release, Nerdly.co.uk and TheHorrorShow.TV have put the Hate
Crime affair
behind them and are set to release another film by writer-director James Cullen
Bressack: To Jennifer.
The
first film shot on an iPhone 5 (pre-dating the forthcoming Hooked Up by a number of
months), To Jennifer stars Jessica Cameron, Chuck Pappas, Jody
Barton and Bressack himself, and tells a story of love gone wrong shot in a
cinema verité, as-it-happened format.
Joey suspects his girlfriend of two years, Jennifer, is cheating on
him. He is so convinced that he enlists the help of his cousin Steven to create
a video diary of his attempt to catch her in the act as well as to document the
heartbreak she is putting him through. In an attempt to make her feel guilty,
he intends to give this tape to her after catching her in the act.
"UK
horror fans are some of the best horror fans in the world,” commented Jessica
Cameron. “I was blessed to make a bunch of new friends at last year’s
FrightFest and I am excited that another film of mine is (finally) finding a
home in the UK market. It's an honour."
The
film is exclusive to TheHorrorShow.TV in
the UK, marking the official debut release under the “Nerdly Presents” banner,
a joint venture between Nerdly and The Horror Show.
To
Jennifer is
scheduled for digital release on April 20, joining more than 250 horror
films already available to stream or download at "the UK's home of horror
on demand"
