Fleshtrap
"The mystery is genuinely intriguing. It moves it a tight spiral, sucking you in."
"In it's themes of child abuse and its collateral damage, this book pulls no punches. This is the first book that has ever made me wince at a page, and it does it a few times. But for all the heartache and horror, this story is really about repair. To finally let go of the past, instead of letting it trap you forever in self destructive cycles. And it is in this way that the book truly shines."
"Definitely a must read."
So what's this must read story about...
Casey Way has been haunted by visions of his dead pedophile father for the last twenty years, tormented by hazy recollections of his father's murder at the hands of his stepmother. The trauma has left Casey burdened with guilt, which has manifested in debilitating insomnia and violent hallucinations. As the anniversary of his father's murder approaches, his step-sister Mariska takes him back to the scene of the crime: their childhood home, to confront their past and finally get some closure.
Instead, something follows Casey back out into the world, something ugly, violent, familiar. It begins a vicious spiral of insanity as people around him begin disappearing and dying, hiding behind the faces of Casey's loved ones. Somehow tied to his father's murder, Casey begins digging into his fragmented memories for an answer. What he finds instead brings Casey face-to-face with his greatest fears as he struggles to end the nightmares that have haunted all of their lives.

Vampires in Pimptown
"Remember
when you could watch a great vampire movie and not only be scared to death but
also laugh at the way most of the people became victims? Well here we go again
on steroids! The town is over run with pimps and prostitutes until the vampires
swoop in. They start by making everyone very afraid. Then they take the town by
storm and the laughter begins. The town pimps become empowered and really mad.
Not only are the girls afraid to work but the money isn't flowin'. What happens
next is a sight to behold and the writing truly brings it all to life. If you
like humor with vampires and pimp or just think you might this is certainly the
book for you. And don't for get the other novel by James H. Lucas, An Undead
Wedding."
"Loved
the book! Laughed so hard on some pages that I thought I would wet my pants.
Keeps you on the edge of your seat on others. Going to buy his other
book!"
Before
you buy his other book, what's this one about...
Welcome
to Pimptown, home of the largest prostitute population on Earth, where anyone
can have a good time, for a price. Now, a "family" of vampires (the
ancient and powerful Amon; Portia, with her fondness for the deliciousness of
youth; the man-hating Jade and Tristan, the conflicted Mormon) have cast their
eyes on Pimptown. Four pimps: Spaceman (in his silver suits and girls named for
constellations), Fried Gold (short on stature, big on attitude), Doctor Bigg
(old school and classy), and Vanilla Luuv (white boy poser) rise to the
challenge to keep their pimp hands strong and kick some bloodsuckin' ass. Also in
the mix are Detectives Saurkreem and Chives, two members of Pimptown's
ludicrously corrupt police force, who are trying to find who is responsible for
the wave of murders in Pimptown, or at least someone who can't afford a good
lawyer. All of this comes together in a comedic romp full of blood, sex and
Cadillacs. So grab your gators, put on your purple suit, sharpen a stake and
get ready to Bitch Slap Evil.

The Feast of Saint Anne: A Hudson Horror Story
"I
loved it...as if I was being pulled into a Ray Bradbury or something like BOY'S
LIFE."
Welcome
back to the village of Wyvern Falls, here along the Hudson in that sleepy
region with the witching influence in the air. This second novel in the 'Hudson
Horror Series', 'The Feast of Saint Anne' brings you not one but four terrifying
tales of the supernatural set in their yearly carnival: In "The Red Baron's
Daughter" two boys get more history than they bargained for when a Fortune
Teller draws them into the web of a monster with its origins in the deadly
skies of the Western Front, circa 1918. Can CID detective John Easton save them
from an even grimmer fate? With 'The Lonely Dancers' an upcoming band finally
show up for their gig - thirty years after they were killed in a tragic accident.
Will local musician Nick Carr unravel this murder mystery or is he doomed to
relive their tale? The third story, "Lorenzo King and the Dunderberg Imp"
takes a new spin on an old Washington Irving classic when a failing New York
media hound finds himself in the worst, and deadliest, assignment of his life.
But can he outwit this much nastier version of Irving's river goblin and show
everyone who the King really is? And in the final tale, "Hey Dummy!"
local Art
Director Jim Franks and his girlfriend cross paths with what appears to be an
old-fashioned vaudeville act. Only neither ventriloquist nor dummy are what they
seem and the answer to their awful secret lies over sixty years in the past with
a New Guinea witchdoctor... Four tales. One hair-raising novel. The Feast of
Saint Anne.
