Van
Scoy Films and screenwriter Tony Slade announce the release of their
latest independent film, The Hatred
Tony
Slade of Philadelphia announced The Hatred, an independent film. It comes
to you straight from the twisted mind of Tony Slade and Sonora Jean and is
being described as the torture film with a positive message.
The
film was shot in two 30,000 square foot factories located in the city of
Philadelphia. The story was written around a true to life horror story that
occurred to Tony in one of these locations. So they knew that The Hatred had to
be shot there. It provided the perfect location and sets that are worthy of the
big Hollywood productions.
The
movie follows six models: Toni, an administrative assistant who wants a change
in her humdrum life. Laura, a cute tom boy who also just needs a change but for
much different reasons. Sharon, a veteran model who will do anything to come
out on top. Joe, a pretty boy veteran model who is obsessed with being perfect
at all costs. Tiffani, a beautiful but not very smart
model
who wants to be just like Sharon.
They
all meet up at an old decrepit warehouse, near a debris-filled corner lot on a
steel gray day in Philadelphia. They are there to audition for a fashion show
being put on by one of the biggest agencies in the city. They meet up with
Glenn an actor/director who is EMC for the event. They climb into an old
elevator to find out that it only goes to the fourth floor. We follow them
through each one of their own private hells. They all have their own demons and
they will all soon come to realize that you can't escape The Hatred
