New Website Aims to Help Indie Authors in These Trying Times

A new website, FreeBookDude.com, has been launched with the goal of helping indie authors. FreeBookDude.com features a different free Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook books every hour. This new book-an-hour format allows for a greater number of authors to be featured on a quickly growing website. This new format also allows readers to get those limited time only free Amazon Kindle books.

With the ebook industry in such a volatile state right now, indie authors are finding it even harder to make a living these days. Indie authors use free online book promotions more than those with major publishing houses. They use these promotions to gain attention for their works, but they have to get those promotions noticed. Many websites charge authors a fee to get featured on their free Kindle and Nook book sites. This is an unnecessary fee that many indie authors cannot afford. At FreeBookDude.com, there are no fees for exposure to an ever growing fan base.

Readers of FreeBookDude.com also get access to at least 24 free Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook books every day. These books vary greatly in genre, allowing readers the chance to discover new authors that they normally would not be exposed to. In economic times as tight as these, readers and authors working together helps everyone save.

FreeBookDude.com is operated by Josh Cook. Josh is a freelance writer living in Everett, Washington. Being an unemployed freelance writer, Josh knows how hard it is for writers, as well as those that are facing tough times right now. His hope is that FreeBookDude.com will become the go to place for authors and writers to meet each other.
