Some
of the awesome people I have done promotions for have given me updates about their
work, and I thought I would share them with you.
Nadine
L Esperance, who runs Blue Girl Films,
has written and directed two short films: Maya’s Journal and Madame Soleil’s
Tea Party. I’m pleased to let you all know that both
films are continuing to have great success, and continue to gain attention from
film festivals. Currently, both shorts are Official Selections at the Killer Film Fest, and Madame
Soleil’s Tea Party will be shown at the Montreal HorrorFest.
If you haven’t seen them head over to “Watch Horror Now” page and check them
out!
Author
Brooklyn Hudson has enjoyed success with her book ‘Wishbone.’ It has been so successful that she recently announced that there will be a
sequel do out by Thanksgiving. That gives you plenty of time to read part 1!
I
had the pleasure to watch “Swine” chapters 1-3, and even reviewed it at
HorrO’s Gory Reviews. About a week ago, I found out that they already did chapter 4, and have
an IndieGoGo campaign to finish off the 5th chapter. Their goal is
to be able to put it all together in a full length movie. I hope you will support
their efforts by clicking on the pic.
Dave
Campfield’s latest film, “Caesar
and Otto’s Deadly XMas” was selected for Elvira’s Horror Hunt, and will
be shown at HorrorHound Weekend. Check out the trailer:
Here’s
another book sequel for you, ‘Darpocalypse’ by author Joseph Souza. This is
book 2 of The Living Dead Trilogy, which will be due this Fall. Plenty of time
for you to read book 1, ‘The Reawakening,' which has been a huge it with zombie fans.
"Shiver" is now an Official Selection at the 20th Raindance Film Festival in the UK. It will be shown on Oct 3rd. Also, it's an Official Selection at the Ravenna Nightmare Film Festival in Italy. That gives "Shiver" 17 International Film Festival Selections. Learn all you need to know about "Shiver" at http://www.shivermoviesite.com/4.html
