The Nefarious: Prince of Shadow

Alone in a dark cavern, far beneath the earth. The only sounds are the beating of your heart and the sound of your breathe. But something is wrong. Out of the darkness comes a sound, faint at first. As it gets louder, you realize that the sound is getting closer to you. It's as if something is crawling across the cavern walls towards you. In that moment, you realize that strange as it may seem, the cavern seems to be getting darker around you. Then, the noise stops just short of where you are standing; you hold your breathe, frozen from fear...

What happens when a 300 year old secret, combined with dark, unknown caverns and a strange entity prey on the souls of the unsuspecting? Find out in The Nefarious. When a film crew arrives at a castle hotel to film a movie, they unlock a secret buried for centuries. What happens next is unthinkable to all.

The Nefarious contains many plot twists, and a surprising ending not to be missed.

Reviews:

“Checked out The Nefarious from new author Keith Weaver and I loved it! This is an extremely well written book, and is fast and easy to read. Weaver grabs you right away and makes you imagine what is going to happen next.

The story unfolds brilliantly as the main character Jim slips out of reality and into a dementia-like state. There are some shocking twists and a surprise ending, which is not to be missed.

Horror and supernatural fans, suspend your belief and check out The Nefarious, a steal if it stays at $.99!”

“The Nefarious is an amazingly easy read, and keeps the reader locked in and looking forward to whatever is coming next. It grabs your attention right away with the journal of some tragic act, which leads to the curse on the castle. 300 years later, that curse is unleashed and an evil horror overcomes the inhabitants of the castle. The ending was brilliant and not to be missed.”

“This is one of the best books I've read in a very long time. I find it so incredible how some authors have this almost magical ability to capture the imagination of the reader through descriptive writing and exciting story-lines. There is a certain sharpness that comes through the author's writing. I don't know if I'm finding the right words to describe this, but this is a book I'll be talking about for a while.

For anyone wanting to read a super suspenseful book that will leave you thinking (and talking!) about it for weeks after you've finished it, I'd highly recommend giving this book a read. This is one of those books that definitely left an impression on me, 5 stars!”

  1. I don't usually go for scary reads...I'm a chicken, but this may be the exception....as it is Halloween after all. :)

  2. Christine: No better time to read a scary book, or even see a scary movie than around Halloween. There are plenty of great books promoted here including this one, so I'm you can find something. Thanks for commenting!
