UK author and screenwriter, Garry Charles, best known for his Heaven Falling novels and the UK vampire flick Dead Cert is please to announce that he has just been signed to pen the official music video for the song “Demon” from the US band Starving for Gravity.
This has been a busy year for Charles with short films being released in the US and Germany and rumour has it that he has penned a feature for Danish film maker Kim Sonderholm.
Only last month US publisher Skullvines Press released his latest novel, a Grindhouse double feature entitled “Tranquil Disturbances”
Charles has been a fan of the band for a couple of years now, having met them after they were both interviewed on the same radio show and they have been following each others careers ever since.
Starving for Gravity like to be known as a rock band with aggressive music that manages to remain accessible to the mainstream.
Whilst holding onto a unique sound they freely admit to being influenced by the likes of Black Keys, Daniel Johns and Foo Fighters
“Starving for Gravity creates amazing music that brings images to the minds eye so to be asked to create the visual story for this song is a true honour” states Charles.
“We’ve spoken to Garry before about music videos but now find ourselves in the right place to act upon his imagination,” adds the band.
The song is currently available to listen to here and the official video will be rushed into production once the script has been given the OK
