"Our Zombie Mother" Starring Tyler Griffin of "Insidious: Ch. 2"

New start-up series Our Zombie Mother’s pint-sized star, Tyler Griffin, recently made HUGE waves in the horror community when he made his big screen debut as Young Parker in Insidious: Chapter 2!

Tyler has this to say about being on set with James Wan, Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and all the rest: “It was fun making a lot of friends on set, not just with other actors but with the director and crew and especially the studio teacher. I still had to do my homework too! But the actor that was my best friend on set was probably Lin.”

Not only did Tyler have a super time shooting on location in real creepy old houses, he also got to attend the premiere screening that was recently held in Universal City, Los Angeles, and to sign autographs on the red carpet! Here’s a clip of Tyler and his sister, Naomi Griffin, who also stars in Our Zombie Mother and whose film, A House Is Not A Home, recently won accolades at the Burbank International Film Festival, signing at the premiere:

Tyler had to keep his involvement in Insidious: Chapter 2 a secret for quite some time prior to its release, though, as his role provides the twist in the story’s tale... He was also extremely proud to have appeared in the trailer even if his appearance was only half a second long. You can watch the trailer – and look out for Tyler! – right here:

Tyler plays Jon in Our Zombie Mother who, along with his sister, Wendy – played by Naomi – has to figure out what to do with his mother when, one day, she wakes up as a zombie! His zombie mother is played by Maria Olsen, who, by a strange twist of fate, also auditioned for the role of his mother in Insidious: Chapter 2! Olsen is well known in horror circles, and has recently been seen in The Haunting of Whaley House, Vile, The Lords of Salem, Paranormal Activity 3 and Die-Ner (Get It)? She also appeared on-screen as the flying Fury in Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

Tyler makes friends wherever he goes, but he isn’t afraid to put in some hard work, and he keeps busy with acting classes, coaching, music and scouting too. But, as making the top list of the Most Cutest Boy Actors on IMDB, one might conclude that he has some natural abilities too. http://www.imdb.com/list/KpOykvHdbmk/?ref_=nm_rls_1

Our Zombie Mother is the brainchild of Patrick Griffin, Tyler and Naomi’s talented dad, and the series is being jointly produced by his company, Griffin Studios LA, and Olsen’s MOnsterworks66. The pilot episode is almost out of post-production, and a number of creepy trailers have been released to give the worldwide zombie army a taste of what is to come:

Our Zombie Mother is a family-friendly zom-com “horromedy” series suitable for zombie lovers ages 10 and up.

And then there’s also OZM NewZ...but that’s a whole other story!

Escape the Nightmares

Escape The Nightmares is a horror themed running series completed at night with the light from your headlamp to guide your way. You must make your way through both man-made and natural obstacles while avoiding what lurks in the darkness. The difference between ETN and other courses is the story. Not only are you challenging yourself physically, there is a mental obstacle of fear that must be overcome to survive. As you proceed through the course the details to the story will start to unravel adding depth to the “why” you chose to run out into the night. Only at the end will you know where the story truly begins. Will you make it out alive, or will you become one of the missing?

You start the evening at the site of a rundown carnival. There you will meet up with your local search and rescue captains organizing the evening’s groups. Don’t spend too much time at the carnival or your group may leave you behind. Once you have gotten your direction it is up to you to locate the 3 missing persons that vanished from the area. You have a 3 mile grid that needs to be searched. Prior search parties have reported seeing strange things in the area. You are strongly cautioned against making contact with anything or anyone found in the area. From here on out the outcome belongs to you.

McFall

"If you are a fan of Stephen Kings then you will love the work of Scott Nicholson"

"An absolutely intriguing and thrilling novel. This novel nothing less than what you would expect from Scott! I started reading and could not put it down!"

"I love the suspense and supernatural drawn together in one awesome tale"

"Scott Nicholson has become one of my favorite authors, love reading his books and all the imagery that comes to life in his books."

"This is a excellent story"

So what's this excellent story about...

When wealthy developer Larkin McFall moves to the small Appalachian Mountain community of Barkersville, generations-old tales of supernatural phenomena, sudden deaths, and odd disappearances resurface. Larkin laughs off the stories as superstition, while promising to bring a bright new future to the dying town.

Sheriff Frank Littlefield senses a diabolical motive in McFall’s good intentions. High school friends Bobby Eldreth and Ronnie Day also suspect that an evil menace has invaded Barkersville, but both soon fall under McFall’s spell. Has the sinister presence that once infiltrated the abandoned—perhaps haunted—red church spread to the community as McFall turns the family property into a luxurious subdivision?

When those who oppose Larkin McFall’s ambitions begin to die horrifically—or even worse, become the man’s biggest supporters—Sheriff Littlefield’s investigation uncovers a man with no past and no fingerprints.

A man who destroys people by giving them exactly what they want.

A new horror comedy named "The Winedancers" just finished shooting in the south of France

For the past five weeks, the South of France have been the host of a cast and crew shooting a new horror film entitled "The Winedancers".

Written and directed by Gary Meyer while produced under the helm of Godam Film, the film is about a number of groups of people coming together and meeting up, in what to begin with looks very coincidentally, at a winecheateu in the South of France. Needless to say, it won't take long until a lot of very peculiar incidents start taking place; odd Pagan rituals, chateau hosts very far from the ordinary, people slowly going off the deep and end one by one - and most importantly: bloody murder - VERY bloody murder, in fact! Plus, it offers real suspence that can almost be described as a classic game of whodunit with a lot of twists and turns!

The cast is very international, UK actors Lucinda Rhodes, Edmund Digby-Jones, Kyle Calderwood and Marina De Salis, Scandinavian actor Kim Sønderholm, Mexican actors Mariana Peñalva and J.C. Montes-Roldan, Polish actress Kasia Koleczek, French actors Miglen Mirtchev, Antoine Martin, Andrea Catozzi (an acrobat able to do the craziest thing with this body) and the towering Jonathan Christopher Duncan playing “Gimp”. Finally, ofcourse there is “Fashion One Correspondents” model Callie Roberts.

Director, writer and producer Gary Meyer about the film:
"It all started in my back garden, I was working with a friend of mine who was into films so that's all we talked about. I wanted to write something new, raw and keep it that way not allowing it to be changed by outside influences and pressures to make it the same as everything else out there.
A mixture of horror comedy and theatre, a roller coaster of emotions. For some reason I came up with a transvestite cowboy line dancer as the main character wearing stiletto heals and tapping to the beat of “Cotton-Eye Joe”. To this day I'm entirely sure where that idea came from. Then after some brain storming and getting some work on a vineyard “The Winedancers” was born. The inspiration: Robin Hardy's “The Wicker Man”, Tony Scott's “The Hunger” and life here in Provence with its deep routed French way of life resisting change as much as it can from the outside world. The wine, the vineyards and the Pagan-like festivals which are held in the small surrounding villages during the summer.
Oh yes I almost forgot, and the French love of dancing...... line dancing, it seems inherent. It is so beautiful here that one can only get inspired but just below the surface of this beauty lies greed, corruption and the unseeing innocent victims who are lured here by its magic, its a magnet for it. “The Winedancers” is this story hosted by the greek gods Pan and Bacchus and not to mention a glass or two of wine."

The film is currently being edited and the release is expected for 2014, but until then, read more about “The Winedancers” on the IMDb page: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3167458

Towering actor Jonathan Christopher Duncan plays the part of Gimp. Gimp likes to hunt and here he is with a wild boar on this shoulders. The boar was real and Jonathan had a nightmare doing the scene, the boar was heavy and it kept dripping down on him. He was a trooper and took one for the team! (Photo: Jazz Bhalla)
