Theatre of the Deranged: DVD Cover Art Released (PR)

DVD Cover art has been released for the upcoming THEATRE OF THE DERANGED anthology!

From Executive Producers James Cullen Bressack and Jarret Cohen at Psykik Junky Pictures, comes the NEWEST HORROR ANTHOLOGY starring horror film icons Shawn C. Phillips, JD Fairman and Cory Jacob and adult-film sensations Sophie Dee and Veronica Ricci:  THEATRE OF THE DERANGED! (theater of derange)

Join Andy the Arsonist as he shares five of his favorite short horror films in all their demented glory. The collection features never-before seen films by popular indie horror writer/directors James Cullen Bressack, Shawn C. Phillips, Liz Gilbert, Brian Dorton, and Creep Creepersin.

The Film was Picked up for WORLD WIDE distribution by the company WORLD WIDE MULTI MEDIA and is scheduled to be released on DVD in June 2012.

New Release Date For My Pure Joy (PR)

Just when you thought the day was right around the corner, it gets pushed back a month!

Over 3,000 fans of the highly anticipated indie horror flick MY PURE JOY have gathered in Facebook, anxiously awaiting the release of critically acclaimed 19-year-old filmmaker, then 18, James Cullen Bressack’s first feature film, which is being released on Media Blasters’ FRESH MEAT Shriek Show label.  Release is now slated for March 13^th Original release date was February 14^th.

Pre-orders have been selling  well on Amazon for the past two months, fueled by consistently rave reviews on horror websites.  The movie is set for large-scale American release in leading retailers nationwide, including Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Fry’s among many others. While  Japanese fans can expect to be treated to a release in theaters in their country later this year.

MY PURE JOY tells the story of a deranged teenage serial killer whose unhealthy obsession with horror movies leads him on a killing spree of neighbors, friends, and family.  James Cullen Bressack, who has been labeled “Horror’s New Hope”, draws special inspiration from Asian directors Takashi Miike and Chan-wook Park. 

So although this Valentine’s day may not be a bloody one for fans and their girlfriends, every cloud does have its silver lining:  Media Blasters has released the artwork for the MY PURE JOY’s disc and DVD cover.

The Hog: A Return to Fear!

The Psycho 78s Renegade Roller Derby

Psycho 78s are proud to present our brand of renegade-rules roller derby, and introduce the east coast to co-ed, no-holds-barred, full-contact derby. Started in 2009, Psycho 78s took the ideas put in motion by the Renegade Rollergirls and made them their own. There are no penalties, no clock-stops, and no mercy. We skate by one rule alone – do unto others as you'd have done unto you. We don't discourage fighting or showboating - we don't discourage anything at all – but be prepared to get back what you give. The game stays at a fast pace, and Brawl Breakers are there to keep the fights short and the packs tight. We don't affiliate ourselves with any governing organization, nor do we have any aspirations to join them in the future. We don't do territories, alliances, or politics. We're derby for the fun of skating derby, and that's where it ends. We're no-drama, no-mercy, no-bullshit, no-holds-barred roller derby. Any team, any surface, any time.
